I second that, i.e. the patch should be more generic. This is what
happens on my Thinkpad 570E during a buildworld, for instance:

Oct 26 11:31:43 brian /boot/kernel/kernel: acpi_tz0: _AC0: temperature 67.8 >= setpoint 65.0
Oct 26 11:31:43 brian /boot/kernel/kernel: acpi_tz0: switched from _AC-1 to _AC0
Oct 26 19:17:12 brian /boot/kernel/kernel: acpi_tz0: _AC0: temperature 74.8 >= setpoint 69.0
Oct 26 19:17:13 brian /boot/kernel/kernel: acpi_tz0: switched from _AC-1 to _AC0
Oct 26 19:17:19 brian /boot/kernel/kernel: acpi_tz0: _AC0: temperature 69.8 >= setpoint 69.0
Oct 26 19:17:19 brian /boot/kernel/kernel: acpi_tz0: switched from _AC-1 to _AC0
Oct 26 19:17:48 brian /boot/kernel/kernel: acpi_tz0: switched from _AC0 to _AC-1
Oct 26 19:18:27 brian /boot/kernel/kernel: acpi_tz0: _AC0: temperature 73.8 >= setpoint 69.0
Oct 26 19:18:27 brian /boot/kernel/kernel: acpi_tz0: switched from _AC-1 to _AC0
Oct 26 19:18:29 brian /boot/kernel/kernel: acpi_tz0: _AC0: temperature 73.8 >= setpoint 69.0
Oct 26 19:18:29 brian /boot/kernel/kernel: acpi_tz0: switched from _AC-1 to _AC0

I never actually hit NONE, and the proposed patch doesn't consider _AC-1.

Bye,
	Andrea
